Mariam Nebieridze

Dr. Mariam Nebieridze is a lecturer of oral communication at San Diego State University Georgia who also serves as a faculty member at the Department of English Philology at Tbilisi State University. Her professional experience includes work as an English language entrance test marker at Georgia’s National Assessment and Examinations Centre, as well as a position as an English language instructor at American University of the Middle East in Kuwait. Dr. Nebieridze has published several articles in the fields of discourse analysis, pragmatics, sociolinguistics and media studies. Her main research interest lies in oral discourse analysis, with particular emphasis on system and ritual constraints.
