Tamar Chelidze

Dr. Tamar Chelidze is a lecturer of physics at SDSU Georgia and concurrently serves as an associate professor and vice dean in the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at Tbilisi State University, where she also received her Ph.D. in Physics. Her main research areas include: Advanced Semiconductor Materials, Condensed Matter Physics, and Semiconductor Quantum Structures. Dr. Chelidze currently supervises the research project “Investigation of Luminescence Blinking in Nanostructure”, which is funded by the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Dr. Chelidze was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame and DAAD Fellowships at Bremen University and Siegen University.  She was also a Soros Aspirant in 1995 and 1996.
