Ying-Khai Teh received the B.Eng. (Hons) Electronics and the M.Eng.Sc. degrees from the Multimedia University (formerly University Telekom Malaysia), Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in 2005 and 2009, and the PhD degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, San Diego State University, San Diego, California, USA. Before joining SDSU, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Integrated Power Electronics Laboratory (IPEL), working in the area of energy harvesting power management IC design for self-powered electronics. He is a recipient of Telekom Malaysia Undergraduate Scholarship, Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. He also received the Excellent Student Paper award in the 2009 IEEE International Conference on ASIC (ASICON), Changsha, China and the Best Student Paper award in the 2014 IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), College Station, Texas, USA.
