Vere River flood site field trip with professor Michael Saunders

On April 14th, 2018, SDSU Georgia professor Michael Saunders guided a student tour along the Vere River ravine, the site of the 2015 Tbilisi flooding that caused numerous casualties and extensive damage in city territories that are now under reconstruction.

The trip showed SDSU Georgia students a first-hand application of how construction engineering is utilized to alleviate environmental issues.
