SDSU Georgia Exchange program

SDSU Georgia Exchange program is a reciprocal partnership with SDSU main campus allowing students to widen one’s horizons through enhanced cultural perspectives and a unique learning experience. Participants generally enroll in regular classes and integrate into mainstream campus life.

SDSU Exchange programs are a great opportunity to:

gain genuine cultural immersion and experience life among locals;

enroll in courses abroad that will count towards your degree requirements;

take courses taught in English and develop advanced foreign language skills;

The application process for the fall 2019 Student Exchange Program to San Diego is now open to all willing and qualified participants. Interested applicants should present the following documentation to the San Diego State University Georgia Administrative office by Friday, March 29 at 5 p.m:

Completed Exchange Application (form attached);

Completed Financial Statement (form attached);

TOEFL/IELTS certificate with a score above the predetermined threshold for exchange program (TOEFL 80 iBT/550 PBT or higher; IELTS 6.5 or higher);

Completed Resume or CV;

Short essay (maximum 500 words) outlining your desire to study abroad at SDSU in fall of 2019. Applicants should also list their extracurricular activities;

Copy of the photo page of your current passport. If you do not have a passport, please arrange to have it by the time of your interview at the US Embassy.

Applicants with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, who have completed at least 3 semesters of study at SDSU Georgia may qualify for full funding. These individuals must also provide proof of financial need in order to receive funding.

SDSU Georgia will not accept applications from the following individuals: students with less than a 3.0 cumulative GPA, SDSU Georgia students currently on administrative/academic probation and SDSU Georgia students who have already participated in the exchange program.
