Ana Nizharadze works at San Diego State University Georgia as a communication and social media specialist. She oversees and manages social media platforms, ensures effective outreach and communication with the stakeholders, beneficiaries and the targeted audience. Ana has several years’ experience of working in the sphere of journalism, media relations, communication, events management and marketing. For 7 years Ana has been working at the position of a manager at International research and Exchanges Board (IREX) two media programs M-TAG and G-MEDIA, funded by USAID. Ana has gained professional experience in the field of journalism while working at Imedi TV and Mze TV. In the beginning of her career she has worked at OSCE/ODIHR missions as a media monitor and at Reuters Tbilisi bureau as a journalist. At the events managing company LTD Lime, Ana was fulfilling duties of a manager and was coordinating different events and activities for the various companies.
Ana Nizharadze has a bachelor degree in social and political science, specialization TV – Radio Journalism. In 2010 – 2012 years Ana graduated GIPA (Georgian Institute of Public Affairs) with a master degree in Public Relation Management and Media Communication. Ana has accomplished many certified training courses in new media field and media technologies.
