127 students, among them 55 girls, were enrolled at San Diego State University Bachelor Programs in Georgia, in 2016. The second cohort of students was very diverse. There are students from Tbilisi and all regions of Georgia, and also, 12 international students from 6 different countries, and American exchange students from Sand Diego campus in California.

This year, as well as the last year, the best student in Georgia who got the highest ratings at NAEC exams, enrolled at SDSU Georgia. “This has already become a tradition and we are happy that the student who received the highest points at national tests will study at our university. The last year, it was Davit Soselia, and now, it is a girl – Tamar Menteshashvili. It is very important that high achieving students choose STEM programs,” says San Diego State University Georgia Dean, Dr. Ken Walsh.
